(This one is just an example!)
The children have been working hard turning the mounds of ‘rubbish’ into a moving vehicle!
They are well underway , although many are still missing the vital wheels!
This morning Maple Class welcomed PC Sam who spoke to us about staying safe and not talking to strangers. He also talked about road safety and what to do if we have any worries. The children were super excited that they had the opportunity to sit in the police car (some as the robbers in the back) and a couple even got to turn on the sirens. To say the children were excited is an understatement !
This morning Maple Class had the opportunity to have a go at drumming in the hall, there was much excitement at being ‘let loose’ on the drums!
A flyer has gone home in book bags today offering children a free drumming lesson so please return these ASAP if they wish your child to have this opportunity.
Thursday morning was extremely busy with some children finishing off their hats, typing up their game rules to play with Oak and others decorating cupcakes.
In the afternoon there was much excitement as the children put on their hats and carefully carried their teacups down to the hall for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!
They enjoyed sandwiches, flapjack, cupcakes and a few other treats! Lots of fun was had by all!
Along with our letters from the White Rabbit we also found time to make pancakes!! Thank you again to Mrs Lichter for organising this- the children had a fantastic time!
Later in the afternoon parents joined us to hear us read or to read to us.. even the Mad Hatter came in to read us Alice in Wonderland!
